ABUJA: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been faulted for allegedly offering the country’s presidency to the highest bidder.

The Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO) made the allegation in a statement by its Director of Communications and Strategic Planning, Mallam Gidado Ibrahim, yesterday.

The BCO was reacting to reports that some members of the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) flouted a directive from its leadership that they should not campaign for presidential aspirants ahead of the October 6 presidential primary of the party.

It urged Nigerians to cross-check properly if the major opposition party has their interest by the way its senior members go about their bid for a presidential candidate.

According to the organization, Nigerians should note that the PDP they rejected in 2015 is out to desecrate the coveted seat of the president.
