“He also added that his visit to IBB and his support for Buhari is based on the true passion for the success of the nation as he believed Buhari is doing what is best for the country and as such should be allowed to continue for as long as the constitution allows it.”

Ugochi Okoroafor, Special Secretary to Orji Kalu has debunked the rumour being circulated by some online media (NOT IGBERE TV) that the former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu spoke on the Whereabouts of the missing IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu shortly after visiting the former military President IBB at his hilltop mansion in Minna, describing the report as baseless, fictitious and fake.

According to Okoroafor who spoke with IGBERE TV correspondent, “my principal visited IBB to canvass support for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari, he never made mention of Nnamdi Kanu nor said anything about his whereabouts.”
The former Governor was in Minna, Niger state to canvass support for the consensus candidate of the ruling party APC, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Orji Uzor Kalu was quoted to have responded to newsmen that the leader of The Independent People Of Biafra is in London, “Nnamdi Kanu is where I told you he is, he is in London. He is safe”. he also added that his visit to IBB and his support for Buhari is based on the true passion for the success of the nation as he believed Buhari is doing what is best for the country and as such should be allowed to continue for as long as the constitution allows it.

While Cautioning the media on what they report Ugochi Okoroafor said “Both journalists and newsrooms should always exercise due diligence; a healthy skepticism in what they read, hear and are told is always necessary before they publish. It is the responsibility of the media to check the veracity and authenticity of what they share with their audiences”.
