ABUJA: The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) said the 2018 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation course for corps members will begin from Tuesday, July 24 to Monday August 13, 2018.
A statement by Director, Press and Public Relations of NYSC, Mrs Adenike Adeyemi, said the Director-General of the scheme, Brig. Gen. Suleiman Kazaure made this known yesterday at a pre-orientation meeting of the NYSC Management with State Coordinators and Camp Commandants in Abuja
Kazaure said details regarding the conduct of the stream II edition of the Orientation Course would be released in due course, while urging the coordinators to communicate policy issues discussed at the meeting to camp officials for effective conduct of the programme.
Kazaure directed the coordinators to pay attention to issues of security and general welfare of corps members, saying they must ensure strict compliance with the management’s directives on healthcare, feeding, accommodation and camp sanitation.
