Finally, a 40-year old Nigerian, Olubayode Treasures Olawunmi who has broken the Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Read Aloud via for via GTBank’s “You Read initiative”
The father of 3 surpassed the former winner, Deepak Sharma to have read for 113 hours and 15 minutes in 2008.
He announced his emergence on Twitter early today
“113 HOURS? BEEN THERE; DONE THAT!
I am delighted to announce that I have officially surpassed the current Guinness World Record for the “Longest Marathon Reading Aloud” Category!
Hey! As a proper Nigerian, I want to put some “jara” on it!”, he wrote.
