The accuser of founder of OFM, Stephanie Otobo, has gone missing in action after the video of her apologising to Apostle Johnson Suleman of the Omega Fire Ministries was released on Saturday morning.
A friend of the young woman told Qed.ng that the singer, who last year accused the clergyman of having an amorous affair with her, had been unreachable.
“We have not seen or heard from her since we saw that video. Her phone is unreachable too,” the friend said.
Otobo, had in the video recorded at the OFM centre in Auchi, Edo State claimed that she was paid by powerful politicians and pastor to blackmail Suleman.
According to her, she fell for the manipulation because she saw it as a way of enhancing her music career.
This online paper learnt that Otobo was at the office of her lawyers at Festus Keyamo Chambers on Tuesday and Wednesday in respect of a suit filed against her by Suleman.
“Even her lawyers have not seen her for about two days now,” the source added.
“What I can say is that she has been under immense pressure to withdraw her allegation against Apostle Suleman.”
When contacted, a lawyer at Festus Keyamo Chambers who spoke anonymously declined to answer questions about the whereabouts of their client.
According to him, “we were in court on behalf of Ms Otobo during the week. She was here to sign some papers and there was no indication that she was going to make any confession.
“I cannot comment on the authenticity or otherwise of that video. She will answer questions about the video at the appropriate time.”
