The Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) won’t be holding fresh talks with England U-21 striker Tammy Abraham despite the forward confirming that talks are ongoing for him to switch allegiance to Nigeria.
Abraham whose father is a close friend to the President of the NFF initially denied any interest in switching allegiance to Nigeria, but few weeks ago he back tracked and said talks are ongoing. However, the NFF are not going to hold further talks with him anytime soon, but other players who have also represented England at youth level are going to be approached by the Federation.
“We have some players who have shown some interest and commitment in playing for us, we are going to meet with them soon.
I think four of them, and they have all represented England at youth level “, a spokesman of the NFF said.
