The Falconets were ruthless in the front of goals Sunday in Dar es Salaam as they thrashed the Tanzanite of Tanzania 6-0 in the return leg of the FIFA U-20 Women World Cup African qualifier match played inside Azam stadium.

Two goals each by prolific goal scorer, Rasheedat Ajibade and attacker, Folashade Ijamilusi and a goal apiece by Mary Imo Anam and striker, Cynthia Aku saw Nigeria women youth team hammer Tanzania 6-0 in the one-sided victory in Dar es Salaam on Sunday evening.

By this win the Falconets qualified to the next stage of the African qualifiers on a 9-0 aggregate score line after Nigeria defeated Tanzania by 3-0 in the first leg encounter played in Benin City fortnight ago.

Ajibade who also scored a brace in the first leg at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City two weeks ago struck in the 17th and 26th minutes for the first and second goals for Nigeria while Ijamilusi got her goals in the 36th and 50th minutes respectively.

Then substitute Cynthia Aku added one goal in 56th before lanky forward, Imo Mary Anam made it six goals with a beautiful strike to put the nail in the coffin of the Tanzanians.

The two –time FIFA Women World Cup silver medalists will now tackle Morocco which eliminated hard fighting Senegal.
