It started to rain as early as 9:00 am on Monday and the occurrence is not a new one to the residents of Lagos most especially the Lekki Ajah axis of the state. The area gets flooded as the drainage constructed are not enough to carry the volume of water that comes with the heavy downpour.

The State Government has said it is looking at every possibility of getting the situation under control & subsequently putting an end to the situation caused by the heavy downpour.
