Just a third league defeat of the season for Jurgen Klopp’s men means the Reds cannot now match Manchester City’s record 100 points from two seasons ago.

Liverpool’s player was first to net the post but that didn’t last before the equalizing goal came.

Arsenal sustained their victory with another goal at 42nd minutes in the first half.

Despite all attempts in second half none of the team was able to hit the goalpost.
