FRESH: Taye Taiwo Joins His 11th Club, Doxa Katokopias FC in Cyprus [PHOTOS]

Taye Taiwo, Former Super Eagles defender, has joined Cypriot top-flight side, Doxa Katokopias FC on a free transfer.

The 35-year-old left fullback who last played for Finnish side FC RoPs signed twelve months contract with Doxa Katokopias FC with the option of another year. He will wear No.33 jersey for the club.

Sharing photos of himself posing with the club jersey,Taye wrote: ‘Thanks God. Enjoy every moment of football God bless.’

Doxa Katokopias is Taiwo’s eleventh club since moving to Europe in 2005. The former Lobi Stars has played for Marseille, Milan, Queens Park Rangers, Dynamo Kyiv, Bursaspor, HJK Helsinki, Lausanne, AFC Eskilstuna, and RoPS.

He also made 54 appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and scored eight goals.
