Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, has reacted with excitement at her prediction coming to pass on Odion Ighalo scoring his first Manchester United goal against Club Brugge.
Ighalo, 30, scored in the 34th minute after a cut-back from Juan Mata on his first start for the club on Thursday in the second leg Europa League tie.
Moments after the goal went in, Asisat tweeted: “IGHALOOOOOOOOOOO………@ighalojude I told y’all …. #MUNBRU.”
The 25-year-old, who plays for FC Barcelona Femení, also wrote in Pidgin English on the clarity of her vision.
“My vision clear die….WOLI ZEE 🤟🏾 #MUNBRU #Ighalo @ighalojude,” she said.
Ighalo’s goal sandwiched Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay’s efforts in the first half before Fred added a double in the second half to make it 5-0 on the night and 6-1 aggregate.
