A man who describes himself as a fan of Davido and an entertainment journalist claims he’s battling with chest pains after the Nigerian musician slapped him on the chest.
In a video he posted on social media the journalist said he had gone to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos to pick up one of his artists that’s he’s promoting.
There, on February 14, he was surprised to see Davido, and as someone who would risk anything to take a selfie with the talented musician, he approached the 27-year-old for one.
But all that he got, in the end, was humiliation, embarrassment and terrible feelings from his “idol”.
In the video, Davido can be seen walking towards one direction when the guy from nowhere gets closer to the music star, positions his phone and brings out a wide smile, ready for a selfie.
A surprised Davido, who seemingly was thinking the guy had gone too far, unleashed a backhand slap on him—and the guy claims he has been nursing the pains he got from someone he holds in high esteem.
