Reports say a young man has just jumped off the third mainland bridge into the lagoon.
The young man who reportedly hailed a Uber cab from Mercy Hospital in Gbagada axis of Lagos has been identified from his personal effects as Daibo Toju Davies.
The Uber driver (names withheld) disclosed to emergency responders that the victim complained about stomach upset in the car and asked him to stop, and immediately the car stopped, he jumped off the bridge into the lagoon.
From a sworn affidavit found among his belongings, the victim was born on 22nd July, 1998 and resident at 17 Sosanya Street Gbagada Soluyi Lagos.
As at the time of filing this report, the man had not been found either dead or alive as the men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) had arrived at the scene with their marine rescue unit operatives as well as the Lagos State Fire Service and were searching for the victim.”
