New Manchester United Odion Ighalo has shared with his followers the pair of boots he will be wearing when he takes to the pitch against Chelsea in what will be his debut for the club.

The former Super Eagles star was a surprise deadline day signing from Shanghai Shenhua, and he is ready for action.

Although United are currently on a winter break, it appears Ighalo can’t wait to get started after he shared a picture of the boots he will be wearing on his debut.

The customised Nike mercurial boot is dedicated to his late sister who passed away in December 2019. Ighalo took to Twitter to share the picture with the caption “MARY ATOLE (nee Ighalo) lives forever”.

Ighalo will get the chance to put on the boots when Manchester United travel to the capital to take on Chelsea in a fortnight.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed the former Watford man will wear the No 25 jersey during his time at Old Trafford.
