Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo, has been rewarded for his incredible work in attack for Changchun Yatai in the Chinese Super League (CSL).

Ighalo was awarded the league’s best player for the month of April after hitting six goals.

The Nigerian enjoyed a superb run of form that saw him rise to the pinnacle of the goalscorers chart, with seven this term.

Ighalo’s official fan page congratulated the player on Twitter about this great feat.

Ighalo will be aiming to return to winning ways this weekend when Yatai host Beijing Guoan after crashing at home to Mikel Obi’s Tianjin TEDA.
