Guaranty Trust Bank, GTBank have been nominated for honours at the banks of Africa Advertising Awards billed for South Africa, by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, JSE.

Among the banks nominated are: Access Bank, Diamond Bank, Ecobank, Fidelity Bank and First Bank. Others are First City Monument Bank, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Sterling Bank, United Bank for Africa and Zenith Bank. Central Bank of Nigeria and Bank of Ghana were also nominated in the Central Banks in West Africa category.

The Banks of Africa is an initiative to recognize and promote financial service excellence across the continent and the awards, organized by USA and South Africa-based Africa to America Productions, is dedicated to celebrating outstanding achievements in financial marketing and communications. This year’s event will focus on financial institutions and the advertising agencies in West Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa, said Talita Erasmus, Marketing & Communications Manager for the award.
