BREAKING: S’Court Dismisses Adeleke, PDP’s Appeal, Declares Gboyega Oyetola Duly Elected Governor Of Osun State

The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

A split judgment of five to two delivered a while ago marked end of the road for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s Ademola Adeleke.

Prompt News Online recalls that Adeleke won the first round of the battle at the Osun state election petition tribunal.

Not satisfied with the outcome of the Tribunal, Governor Oyetola filed an appeal and subsequently secured the nod of the Appeal Court Justices to remain in office.
