Nigeria finished 3rd in the group after the Monday game as rivals Norway secured a win over South Korea to advance to the next round.

The ladies are forced to wait to seal qualification to the Round of 16 of the Women’s World Cup.

Nigeria needs results from other groups to go in their favour in order to move to the next round.

The Super Falcons failed to qualify for the knockout stages in the last World Cup in 2015.
