Forty-five opposition parties in Gombe State under the auspices of Interparty Advisory Council (IPAC) have endorsed the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya.

The parties’ position was contained in a statement issued to newsmen, yesterday, by the state Chairman of IPAC, Alhaji Muhammad Garba.

The statement, which contained the signatures of the chairmen of the 45 political parties that endorsed Yahaya, said they arrived at the decision after wide consultations.

“After series of meetings, we the undersigned 45 political parties have unanimously agreed to keep our personal interests aside and adopted Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of the APC for the March 9 governorship election in Gombe State,” the statement read.

They further called on their supporters and the electorate to cast their votes for Inuwa Yahaya to ensure a collective change of government and meaningful development of the state.
