JMG Partners with Lagos Business School to Champion Leadership and the Power of Communication
JMG Limited has strengthened its commitment to leadership development, learning and the growth of future-ready talent through its partnership with Lagos Business School (LBS) MBA Career
s and Placement Unit by sponsoring the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) Mini-Keynote Speaking Competition held on 26 September 2026.
For JMG, the partnership represents more than support for an academic competition. It reflects the company’s belief that building a stronger future for business goes beyond providing products and services; it also means investing in the people, ideas and capabilities that will shape that future.
As an organisation operating across critical sectors including power generation, HVAC and climate solutions, solar energy and haulage, JMG understands the importance of developing people who can think boldly, communicate effectively and lead with purpose. Its engagement with LBS provides an opportunity to support these qualities while connecting with emerging talent and contributing to conversations around leadership and business excellence.
Lagos Business School, one of Africa’s respected institutions for business and management education, has built a strong reputation for developing principled and globally minded leaders. Its focus on academic excellence, leadership and real-world business thinking makes it a natural platform for JMG to engage with the next generation of professionals and business leaders.
The BGS Mini-Keynote Speaking Competition brought this shared commitment to life by giving participants the opportunity to articulate ideas, engage an audience and demonstrate the confidence and critical thinking required of effective leaders. For JMG, supporting the platform was an opportunity to encourage young professionals to recognise that communicating an idea can be just as important as the idea itself.
Speaking on the partnership, Rabi Jammal, Chief Commercial Officer, JMG Limited, said, “At JMG, we believe that sustainable growth is ultimately about people. Businesses need talented individuals who can think, communicate and lead effectively. Our partnership with Lagos Business School allows us to support an institution that is helping to shape that calibre of leadership, while creating opportunities for emerging professionals to develop their voices and confidence.”
As part of the engagement, JMG also provided participants with insights into its diverse business operations, including power generation, HVAC and climate solutions, solar energy and haulage, demonstrating how its solutions support businesses, industries and infrastructure across Nigeria.
The partnership with LBS forms part of JMG’s broader commitment to creating meaningful connections with the communities it serves and supporting initiatives that contribute to personal and professional development. It also reflects the company’s understanding that its role in society extends beyond its commercial operations to help create an environment where knowledge, talent and ideas can thrive.
For JMG, the partnership is ultimately about building more than businesses; it is about helping to build the people who will lead them.
