Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has debunked reports claiming that she died in an accident.
Ruth addressed the reports in a video shared online on Sunday, saying she is alive and safe and was not involved in any accident.
The actress also appealed to her fans to report social media pages publishing the false reports.
The mother of two said she was saddened by the extent to which some people use social media to hurt others and wish them death.
She said she keeps to herself and urged those spreading the reports to leave her alone.
She captioned the video, “I am alive!! Please help me report. Please, I’m begging you, help me report it!! Any page that carries such news.
“I am really sad at the extent to which some people will go on this social media space to hurt and wish death on another person. I stay in my lane. Leave me alone. I beg you all. It’s really becoming tiring and sad”.
The spread of false death reports involving Nigerian entertainers has become a recurring issue, with several actors having had to publicly confirm that they are alive after such reports circulated online.
