Primate Ayodele Says Oluremi Tinubu Did Not Have Motherly Love As Abducted Oyo Schoolchildren Remains In Captivity [VIDEO]
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has slammed Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over what he described as her “nonchalant attitude” toward the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.
In a viral video circulating online, Ayodele accused Oluremi Tinubu of failing to show concern or publicly demand the immediate release of the abducted victims, insisting that her response did not reflect “motherly love.”
“You did not have motherly love. You should have done what Jonathan’s wife did. You never protested and demanded that these Oyo school children be brought back,” he said.
The cleric also criticised what he described as her involvement in political activities while the abducted pupils and teachers remained in captivity, alleging that she was busy distributing cars for political campaigns instead of speaking out on the incident.
“Instead, you were busy distributing cars for political campaigns. I will tell you the truth,” he added.
Ayodele contrasted her approach with that of former First Lady Patience Jonathan, whom he described as more vocal during previous incidents involving schoolchildren abductions.
The video has since generated mixed reactions on social media, with many users divided over the cleric’s remarks and tone of criticism.
The abduction incident, which has drawn national attention, involved pupils and teachers taken from schools in Oyo State’s Oriire Local Government Area.
Calls have continued to mount for the safe return of the victims, as concerns grow over insecurity and the safety of schoolchildren in the region.
