Nigerian Grammy-nominated singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has expressed displeasure after being called out over an alleged $50,000 debt for wedding planning.

The Genius Media Nigeria reports that a social media post credited to the CEO of the company that was in charge of Davido and Chioma’s wedding, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, accused the singer of owing unpaid debt.

The report that went viral on social media was accompanied by an alleged chat of the event planner threatening legal action.

However, Funke Bucknor, in a post via her Instagram story, debunked the allegation and the viral screenshot of her calling out Davido for unpaid debt.

Bucknor described the viral post as false and misleading, stressing that it did not emanate from her company.
