Following the selection of Ibrahim Usman Jibril as the New Emir of Nasarawa, the Minister of State for Environment, has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.

He tendered his resignation on Wednesday at the ongoing Federal Executive Council presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Jibrin was appointed as the Minister of State for Environment in December 2015 when the council was constituted after being screened and confirmed by the Senate.
