BREAKING: Watch Moment Nyesom Wike Openly Denied Calling Lieutenant A.M Yerima A Fool [VIDEOS]
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has stated that he didn’t call the Nigerian military a fool.
This statement was contained in a 37.50 viral video
The FCT Minister claimed that many people didn’t understand what he meant when he used the word during his confrontation with Lieutenant A.M Yerima. He said he will never disrespect the Nigerian Army.
Nyesom Wike stated that he is fully aware of all the sacrifices of the Nigerian Army in fighting terrorism and insurgency.
According to Nyesom Wike;
“Those who are talking and writing junks saying I called the boy a fool should go and find out what happened. What I meant is this, you can not be carrying out an illegal order. I didn’t say military is a fool.
“I wouldn’t have said that. I know the role of the military. The role they play in this country. What they have passed through in fighting insurgency and terrorism

Recall that Wike and Yerima had a faceoff on Tuesday, November 11 over a land in dispute in the FCT. Wike had claimed the land which belonged to a former Chief of Naval Staff was inappropriately acquired as it lacked the required documentation, He insisted that the building project that was ongoing on the land be stopped immediately.
Yerima and his colleagues were however drafted to the parcel of land to protect the workers on site. This led to a faceoff between Wike and Yerima who insisted that himself and his team will not allow Wike and his team to stop the work going on on the land.
He insisted he was acting on the order from his superiors. This infuriated Wike who hurled insults at him.
‘’Shut up your mouth, who does that? Will you keep quiet? Are you a big fool?’ You are a big fooll’
