In Spain, Atletico Madrid defeated Union S.G 3-1. In France, Paris Saint-Germain fell to a 2-1 loss to visiting Bayern Munich. In Italy, Napoli played a goalless draw with Frankfurt.
In the other Champions League games on Tuesday, Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw by Sporting; Olympiakos and PSV also played a 1-1 draw; and Tottenham Hotspur thrashed Copenhagen 4-0.
