JUST IN: Emir Of Ilorin’s Grand-daughter, Imann Sulu-Gambari Set For Call-To-The-Bar [PHOTO]
Call to the Nigerian Bar and admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court for Imann Yelwa Sulu-Gambari will hold to tomorrow, 24th September 2025, ROYAL NEWS has gathered.
Imann Sulu-Gambari, a grand-daughter of the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR is the daughter of Barrister Abubakar Bature Sulu-Gambari SAN, the Ciroma of Ilorin and Principal Partner at A.B Sulu-Gambari & Co., a leading law firm that is largely involved in the formulation of shipping and management policies and member of the Nigerian Maritime Law Association.
Barr. Imann Sulu-Gambari attended the prestigious University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom before joining the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus.
However, a grand reception has been organized in honour of Barr. Imann Yelwa Sulu-Gambari to hold on Wednesday 24th September 2025 at the Walsh Blanc Tropic Galleria, Central Area, Abuja, by 2.30pm.
Recall that her grandfather, the Emir of Ilorin, had a prosperous sojourn in the legal Profession as the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary in the old Gongola State, acting Chief Judge of Borno, Bauchi and Gongola States respectively among other remarkable positions and later voluntarily retired as the Presiding Justice of Court of Appeal, Lagos Division in 1995 to become the 11th Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council.
Similarly, her maternal grandfather, Hon. Justice AbdulKadir Orire (rtd) a reputable legal Icon and late Sarkin Malamai of Ilorin was the longest serving Grand Khadi of the Kwara State Sharia Court of Appeal.
With her admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Barr. Imaan would be joining league legal practioners that will be making Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria proud globally.
