President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has expressed excitement about its 650,000 barrels-per-day capacity refinery located in Lekki, Lagos, marking one year of starting the refining and supplying of premium motor spirit (PMS).

 

He spoke on Monday at a press conference held at the Lagos refinery describing it as a day of celebration even though he admitted that the journey had been tough.

 

Dangote also announced the commencement of the deployment of 4,000 compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered trucks along with 6,000 other new trucks for the direct fuel distribution to the states in the South West, Abuja, Kwara, Delta and Edo.
