The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.

According to reports, the senior civil servant appeared to be in good health just a day earlier and had attended church service on Sunday and showed no signs of ailment.

The news of her sudden passing has thrown colleagues, family, and associates into mourning.

Adayilo was appointed Head of the Civil Service of the FCT Administration in October 2024. Before her elevation, she served as Permanent Secretary of the Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat within the FCT Administration.

Over the years, she earned a reputation for dedication, reform-driven leadership, and her commitment to improving the welfare of civil servants.

Her short tenure as Head of Service was marked by efforts to enhance efficiency across the FCT bureaucracy, with a focus on training, productivity, and staff welfare.

As of the time of press, the FCT administration has not released an official statement on her passing.
