BREAKING: Angry Voters Beat PDP Agent In Edo
Some voters are the Ozolua Model Primary School, Iguobazuwa East Ward, headquarters of Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State pounced on a party agent.
The voters accused the agent, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party of holding onto their Permanent Voter Cards.
The manhandled and beat the yet-to-be-identified agent up at the ward on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
The agent was however, saved by the intervention of the police officers deployed to the ward for the election.
Speaking on the incident, one of the intending voters said the PDP agent was in possession of the PVCs and refused to release them.
It was gathered that the voters turned out to vote at various Wards in Iguobazuwa.
Also, voting materials arrived in the ward as early as 7 am.
