Nyesom Wike Vows Tead President Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Campaign
The genius Media Nigeria reports that The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared that he will spearhead President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign in 2027, directly challenging critics questioning his commitment to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) when he claims to be a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
While speaking during a media chat in Abuja on Monday, June 2, Wike said;
“I have told you this before, is it because I am in Asiwaju’s presidency? Are you not aware I will lead his campaign in Rivers State? You want me to say no?” he said
The minister further predicted a dramatic reversal of Tinubu’s 2023 election performance in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where the president secured less than 10 per cent of votes
“Are you not aware that he did not get up to 10 per cent here, FCT? But he will win here. Are you not aware? Stop asking me questions you know. Of course, you know. Is that hidden?”
