Mariah Carey didn’t let the flu get in the way of her performing in NYC Tuesday evening — or delivering a personalized gift to none other than Rihanna.
Mariah wrapped up her ‘Christmas Time’ tour at Barclays Center with last night’s show — after canceling a few concerts earlier this month while battling the flu.
The Barclays show was extra special because Rihanna popped up in the packed crowd to watch Mariah do what she does best: sing
Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky were in the audience soaking in the Christmas spirit when the rapper suggested she make her way to the front of the pit. Once there, Carey noticed and took a moment to greet Rhianna… and then some.
As seen in fan-captured videos, the interaction starts with an acknowledgment of style, with Carey asking to buy Rihanna’s sunglasses off her face. Rhianna then asks for a sharpie for a signature and had Carey make her mark on her breast.
“I need a signature. Who has a Sharpie? Sign my tit!” the superstar, 36, can be heard telling Carey in a video posted to social media.
Carey signed her first name with a red Sharpie on Rihanna’s breast. The “Diamonds” singer then grabbed Carey’s microphone and addressed the audience.
“Mariah Carey is signing my tit, y’all! This s–t is f–king epic!” Rihanna said before showing her new autograph to the camera and hugging the performer.
