BREAKING: Former Atiku’s Spokesman, Daniel Bwala Now Tinubu’s Media Aide—-President Bola Tinubu has appointed Daniel Bwala, former spokesperson to the 2023 People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications (State House).
In a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy on Thursday, 14th of November, Tinubu also named three others as directors-general of key agencies.
The appointees are: Olawale Olopade: As the new Director-General of the National Sports Commission, Olopade brings extensive experience as a sports administrator. He previously served as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun State and chaired the local organizing committee of the 2024 National Sports Festival.

Dr. Abisoye Fagade: Now leading the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, Fagade is a seasoned marketing communications expert and the founder and managing director of Sodium Brand Solutions.
Dr. Adebowale Adedokun: The new Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement, Adedokun previously held the position of Director of Research/Training and Strategic Planning at the bureau.
Daniel Bwala: Bwala is a lawyer and well-regarded public affairs analyst.
President Tinubu has urged these newly appointed officials to approach their roles with dedication, patriotism, and excellence.
