The Genius Media Nigeria reports that the Federal Government has announced that Monday, September 16th, 2024, will be observed as a public holiday in honor of the Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration.

 

This announcement was made by the federal government through the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in a statement issued on Friday.

Tunji-Ojo congratulated Mulim Ummahh both at home and in the diaspora on the occasion.

The Minister urged the Muslim Ummah and by extension, Nigerians to imbibe the spirit off patience, sacrifice and resilience.
