Obi stated, “Protest is a constitutional right in Nigeria. I urge the protesters to act lawfully and civilly, demonstrating that we are a nation governed by law. The economic situation is tough, and it’s crucial to listen to the grievances of the people.”

Also, addressing concerns about the potential sponsors of the protests, Obi said, “The true sponsors are the hunger and hopelessness felt by the youth. We must acknowledge and address these issues.”
