Alimosho Community Set To Hold Alimosho Day In Colours—–The Alimosho Day Organizing Committee proudly announces Alimosho Day 2024, a momentous community celebration scheduled from August 12th to August 24th, 2024.
The annual event promises an array of activities designed to empower youth, showcase talent, promote health, and celebrate the vibrant cultural heritage of Alimosho.
The Alimosho Day celebration under the leadership of Baale of Alimosho, High Chief Jamiu Babalola Ogunwale, will offer a rich parade of events that highlight the community’s spirit and resilience. “We are honoured to host Alimosho Day 2024, a testament to our community’s resilience and unity. The diverse lineup of events highlights our commitment to nurturing talent, promoting wellness, and celebrating our shared cultural identity,” remarked Baale of Alimosho, High Chief Jamiu Babalola Ogunwale.
The commemorative events marking Alimosho Day 2024 include Youth Empowerment Trainings with workshops in digital marketing, Talent Hunt, Medical Outreach, and Symposium under the theme, ‘‘Empowering the Upcoming Generation with Required Technical Training in The Global Market.’’ The grand finale on August 24th will culminate in an evening of celebration with certificate presentations, awards, a book launch, and cultural performances showcasing Alimosho’s rich diversity.
Among the notable guests expected to grace the occasion are His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu; His Excellency, Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Kadri Hamzat; The Honourable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa; H.E. Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire OFR, The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals; SEN.
