#TinubuMustGo Trends On Twitter As Nigerians Table Six Demands—A social media storm is brewing in Nigeria as the hashtag “Tinubu Must Go” gains momentum on Twitter, trending like wildfire.

This comes in response to the recent introduction of a 0.5% Cyber Security Level for cash transactions, which has sparked widespread outrage among Nigerians. Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election has also voiced his strong opposition to the new policy.

According to Obi, President Bola Tinubu is only interested in “milking a dying economy.” Other prominent Nigerians, including some of Tinubu’s own supporters, have also joined the chorus of disapproval.

As the “Tinubu Must Go” hashtag continues to trend, Nigerians are uniting behind six key demands:

1. Reverse tuition subsidy removal

2. Reverse electricity tariff increase

3. Reverse stamp duty increase

4. Increase minimum wage

5. Cancel cyber security level

6. 50% slash in salaries of National Assembly members

These demands reflect the growing frustration among Nigerians with the current state of the economy and the government’s policies. As the hashtag continues to gain traction, it remains to be seen how the government will respond to these demands and the growing call for change.

The “Tinubu Must Go” movement is a clear indication of the power of social media in mobilizing public opinion and driving political change. As the situation continues to unfold, one thing is clear: Nigerians are demanding action, and they are demanding it now.
