JUST IN: D’banj Apologises To Don Jazzy And Others Over Exit From Mo’Hits Records—-Singer D’banj has apologised to his colleagues Don Jazzy, Wande Coal and other members of the now defunct label Mo’Hits Records over the circumstances that led to his exit.

Mo’ Hits Records was a Nigerian-based music record label owned by D’banj and Don Jazzy. It was founded in 2006. The label also signed artistes like Wande Coal, Dr SID, D’Prince, and K-Switch.

But in March 2012, Don Jazzy announced that D’banj had left the group over an internal disagreement.

In a statement on Wednesday, D’banj revealed that he will be putting out a track that “is dear to my heart” on Friday.

The 43-year-old also reminisced about his years in the music industry and the people who contributed to his growth.

D’banj praised his former Mo’ Hits mates for their achievements together over the years. He also said he was done “blame gaming” while asking them to forgive him.

The statement read in parts: “Next week Friday, I’m dropping a track that is dear to my heart. It might be the best track of my career so far. Been at this game since ‘04.”

“When I look back at my journey as your favourite entertainer, many names pop up in my mind for their various contributions to D’banj. Today, I celebrate Mo’ Hits.. the group and our team.

“What a SOLID team we had. Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, D’Prince and Kay Switch. My brothers were piping hot!! Together we elevated this game and showed them things that could happen.

“I’ve spent many years focusing on the blame game but I’m not playing that game anymore. If you feel I wronged you at anytime, forgive me.

“The philosopher in me is grateful for everything that went right and those that went wrong. Without those things, we won’t all be the Kings we are today killing it in our different endeavours.”
