BREAKING: Veteran Kannywood Actress Saratu Gidado #Daso Is Dead [PHOTO]—A veteran actress in Kannywood, the Hausa-language film industry, Saratu Gidado, popularly known as Daso, has died. According to her family members, she was found d£ad in apartment on this morning April 9.

The relatives said she was found d£ad after she had gone back to sleep after Sahur, the early-morning Muslim breakfast for those observing the Ramadan fasting.

Daso who d!ed at the age of 56 was born on 17 January, 1968 in the city of Kano.

She was particularly known for the comical roles she played as an aggressive and mischievous woman. She made her debut in 2000 in a movie titled Linzami Da Wuta, produced by Sarauniya Movies.
