BREAKING: Victor #Osimhen Left Behind As Super Eagles Depart For Nigeria Vs South Africa In Bouake—-Nigeria’s talismanic striker, Victor Osimhen did not fly with the rest of the Super Eagles as the team departed Abidjan for Bouake on Monday night.

 

According to information from the team’s camp, the departed Abidjan aboard a  Cote D’Ivoire flight but Osimhen was to be left behind as a result of an abdominal discomfort.

“Team medics confirmed that he has been placed under close watch with a member of the medical team staying behind in Abidjan with him. If cleared by tomorrow morning, he will join the rest of the squad before 5pm”, the statement from the Super Eagles read.

Nigeria will face South Africa in a crucial Africa Cup of Nations ‘ semi-final match on Wednesday.
