The Genius Media Nigeria reports that eyebrows were raised after the construction company incharge of repairs on third mainland bridge ‘sacrificed’ three rams before starting repairs.
In a video sighted by this publication, three rams were seen lying lifeless on the ground with their blood filling a container which their necks were placed on.
The reason behind the sacrifice is unknown but some are of the opinion that the significance of the sacrifice is to appease the powers in control of the environment.
