Oborevwori, Delta Governor Appoints Iwemdi Nwaham, SSA On Political Affairs—The Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of Mr. Iwemdi Nwaham, as his Senior Special Assistant (Political).
The appointment which took immediate effect was contained in a letter dated Friday December 22, 2023 and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu.
Iwemdi Nwaham is a quietly influential founding member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), before he led in 2023, a crowd of APC members/faithful to join the People’s Democratic Party in his ward in Umunede in Ika North East Local Government Area (LGA) of Delta State.
While in APC, the Umunede born ace politician who is reputed for grassroots mobilization was the former APC publicity Secretary in the state under the then chairman, Chief Cyril Ogodo.
