BREAKING: 2023/24 Premier League Full Fixtures And Start Date Released As #Chelsea Face #Liverpool—-The 2023/24 Premier League fixtures are out, with Manchester City set to begin their title defence against Burnley on Friday August 11.

The fixture pits Treble-winning City against their former captain Vincent Kompany, who guided Burnley to Premier League promotion last season.

Pep Guardiola’s City overhauled Arsenal in the closing weeks of last season but the Gunners built the foundations of a surprise 2022-23 Premier League title tilt on a strong start that saw them win their opening five games of the season. They start against Nottingham Forest on Saturday August 12.

The Gunners’ opener – kick-off at 12:30 – against Forest will be shown live on TNT Sports.

If Arsenal exceeded expectations, then there was disappointment at Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Liverpool and Chelsea will be aiming for returns to the Champions League for the 2024-25 season. Mauricio Pochettino begins his Stamford Bridge tenure with a blockbuster clash against Jurgen Klopp’s side at Stamford Bridge on Sunday August 13.

Spurs’ season descended into acrimony and disappointment as Antonio Conte’s tenure came to a premature end and they finished eighth. The club appointed Ange Postecoglou in the close season and his first match in charge is an away fixture against Brentford.

Erik ten Hag won the League Cup in his first season as Manchester United boss but lost to City in the FA Cup final as their rivals went on to match the 1999 United team’s feat of winning the Treble. The Red Devils finished third – some 14 points shy of City – and start their campaign with a match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday August 14.

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle kept Ten Hag’s side honest for much of the season – briefly occupying third as the campaign drew to a close – and held off Liverpool to finish fourth and secure Champions League football. They face Aston Villa on Saturday August 12.

Villa finished seventh in the Premier League table to qualify for the Europa Conference League play-off round and were just one point and one position behind Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton & Hove Albion, who, along with Liverpool, qualified for the Europa League group stage.
