The Colombian forward went off against Arsenal in October but had returned to training for the club’s mid-season camp in Dubai this month.
However, after experiencing further complications on the tour to Dubai, it was announced he would be out for longer.. He has now had surgery on his lateral collateral ligament and is unlikely to appear again before March.
