BREAKING: #RCCG’s 7 Days Fasting And Prayer Program Begins Nov. 26 2022—The one week fasting and prayer programme, declared by the General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, starts tomorrow, Saturday November 26, 2022, and will end on Friday, December 2, 2022.
Citing 2 Chronicles 7:13-14, Pastor Adeboye had said that there is need for all Christians to pray for themselves as much of what is wrong with their countries are because they (the Christians) have not been praying enough.
The fasting and prayer programme, the highly respected Cleric, therefore said, will principally be for individuals to pray for themselves, confessing their sins to God and asking for His mercy. He stressed that God still answers prayers.
Pastor Adeboye had said that the programme will be in two parts. The first six days will be rounded off each day with prayers at the different parishes of the Church all over the world and will start with Praising God for His patience, then confession of sins by individuals to God and prayers for His mercy.
On the seventh and final day of the programme, from 7:00PM (West African Time), all will come together at the Redemption City on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway for the mega praise and prayer session in anticipation of God’s answers to the prayers of His people.
He said that God must be merciful unto His people, stressing that we have to hold onto Him and ask for His help.
The weeklong fasting and prayer programme will be followed by the Annual Congress of the RCCG that runs from December 5, 2022, to December 10, 2022, with the theme – DOUBLE PORTION.
