Fraud: House of Representative Member, Hon. Kabiru Amadu Mai ‘Palace‘, in EFCC’s Net—Report reaching this medium have it that, a House of Representative Member representing Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency Zamfara State, Hon. Kabiru Amadu Mai ‘Palace’ have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC, over fraudulent activities.
Sometime in May 2018, Hon. Kabiru Amadu Mai ‘Palace’ collected Millions of Naira as bribe from A.Y DAN HAUWA GENERAL MARCHANDISE NIGERIA LIMITED with the promise to pave a way for the company to supply grains to 16 Federal constituencies across the Nation.
The promise that was later discovered by the contractor to be fake and fraudulent, as it was discovered to be hiding under the National Assembly to enrich himself fraudulently the classified documents revealed.
After several failed promise from MAI PALACE to pay back the money he collected as a bribe, the petitioner A.Y DAN HAUWA alerted the EFCC and have now been arrested by the agency.
As at the time of filling this report , a source at the EFCC who doesn’t want his name known hinted that, “we have so far received about 12 similar petitions against Hon. Kabiru Amadu MAIPALACE and will soon be charge to Court”, the source said.
It may be recalled that, Hon. Faruk Lawan popularly known as Mr, Integrity had similar case of this type with Oil Mogul Mr. Otedola and is now serving seven years Jail term in Kuje Correctional Facility.
