LWC Promises Residents Of Lagos Island Improved Service Delivery—The Managing Director/CEO, Lagos Water Corporation (LWC), Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus, has promised the residents of Lagos Island improved service delivery to the area.
Engr. Badmus spoke during a visit by the Lagos Island Connect (LIC) team, led by its co-founder, Ms. Yemisi Ransome-Kuti, to the Corporation’s Head Office at Ijora-Olopa, to discuss the lingering issue of water scarcity in Lagos Island.
He explained that the Corporation is currently addressing the issues surrounding the water shortage and gave an assurance that the matter would soon be resolved.
The LWC boss explained that a section of the Onikan Mini-Waterworks that was responsible for the production and supply of potable water to the affected area on Lagos Island got burnt and the process of repairs has been initiated.
