The Super Eagles Of Nigeria has just defeated Mohammed Salah led Egypt in #AFCON2021 opener.

#TeamNigeria of Nigeria put up a stellar performance to beat the Pharoah’s of Egypt in their opening AFCON 2021 game.

It was indeed a brilliant strike from Kelechi Iheanacho, that saw out the game and gave the West Africans a well-deserved lead.

Super Eagles

Egypt had been tipped by pundits to be victorious, this was largely due to their star man, Salah, making the starting XI.

But a tactical masterclass from the Super Eagles interim coach Augustine Eguavoen, saw them dominate the affair.

Ndidi and Aribo dominated the midfield, and the attackers remained a huge threat all through the game.

Salah was limited to just one shot, missed a big chance, as he failed to carry the team as anticipated by many.

Egypt’s captain Mo Sallah was silent throughout the match managing only a shoot a goal.
