Nigeria has qualified for the 2019 U-17 African Cup of Nations, scheduled to hold in Tanzania next year.

The match between Nigeria and Ghana began at 7pm on Saturday, and took place at the Senyi Koutnche Stadium in Niamey.

At full time, the match was a draw and the winner had to be decided by penalty kicks.

At the end of the match, the Golden Eaglets carried the day as WAFU Zone B winners.

It was earlier reported by an online media platform that the golden eaglets were promised the sum of N2 Million each should they take the country to the African event next year by beating Ghana.

Now that they have met up their own part of the deal, its left to the NFF to redeem their pledge to the young lads.
