#OccupyLekkiTollGate Protest: How Mr Macaroni Reacted To His Arrest—You Are Doing Well Crooner and Ace comedian, Debo Macaron popularly known as Mr Macaroni has reacted to his arrest by men of the Nigeria Police Force at Lekki, Lagos State.

The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Mr Macaroni was arrested alongside others at the toll gate on Saturday for allegedly violating government’s directives on social gathering. A development which garnered a barrage of reactions from Nigerians both on social media and offline.

The actor had shown a bravery action with other youths to storm the toll gate to express dissatisfaction with the move to reopen the toll gate where scores were killed during the End SARS protest.

Moments after outrage by Nigerians, Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP Zubairu Muazu mni ordered the release of the protesters.

In his reaction some moments later, Mr Macaroni took to his Twitter account and wrote:

“The Hausa man is my brother, so is the Igbo man and The Yoruba man. We are all one. The Government and the Government alone is responsible for any insecurity in Nigeria and it is their duty to protect all Nigerians. I plead for peace.
We will come back to my matter later.”
